With the opening of the Sweets & Snacks Expo and the presentation of this year’s limited Expo PEZ Girl, we anticipated the usual hysteria—especially considering that only 1,000 dispensers were produced.
Sweets & Snacks PEZ Girl Raffle Winners Announced
The special Girl PEZ dispenser attracts more collectors than perhaps even the Expo Truck or Expo Pizza, and the demand for it is enormous.
It was only a matter of time before the first dispensers appeared on eBay for $250.
However, this year PEZ chose a different and very thoughtful path.
Members of the PEZ community were able to register for a raffle, giving them the opportunity to purchase one of the 1,000 dispensers for $50.
Additionally, PEZ is donating a portion of the proceeds to the Connecticut Humane Society.
Naturally, we all registered and anxiously checked our emails, hoping to be among the lucky winners.
According to reports from the community, the emails have now been sent and there are already some fortunate recipients.
