Fan Expo Portland 2025: An Incredible PEZ Autograph Adventure
Collector D.J. Perlberg recently attended Fan Expo Portland 2025 with one major goal in mind:
Get 10 PEZ dispensers signed.
And amazingly… mission accomplished! 🎉
Every single PEZ D.J. brought to the convention was successfully signed, creating an absolutely incredible autograph lineup filled with animation, superhero, Disney, Star Wars, and pop culture legends.
As always, one of the best parts was seeing the celebrities react to the PEZ dispensers themselves — and according to D.J., everyone absolutely loved them!
Some Highlights from the PEZ Autograph Haul
Kate Micucci signed both Velma and Webby PEZ dispensers, and thanks to Kristin stepping in with a last-minute Webby PEZ rescue, D.J. was able to complete both signatures successfully. 💖
Troy Baker, the voice of Joker in numerous animated Batman projects, added extra “HA HAs” alongside his autograph and even performed his Joker voice during the signing.
Yuri Lowenthal, known for Superman and Ben 10, impressed fans with a unique speaker setup so everyone in line could hear him clearly.
George Newbern, one of the most beloved Superman voices from Justice League, somehow managed to fit both “Superman” and “Justice League” onto the PEZ stem — an incredible detail for collectors.
Grey DeLisle, the voice behind Daphne, Wonder Woman, Flicker, and countless other iconic characters, turned out to be one of the highlights of the convention experience. According to D.J., she could not have been kinder.
Dean Cain shared a fantastic conversation while signing the Superman PEZ, making for one of the most memorable celebrity interactions of the entire day.
Temuera Morrison, the legendary Boba Fett actor, personally greeted fans before signing began, creating an especially welcoming atmosphere despite having one of the convention’s longest lines.
David Giuntoli, voice of Batman in multiple animated films, was feeling under the weather but still took time to warmly greet collectors and sign PEZ for fans.
Tyler Hoechlin, Superman from Superman & Lois, became D.J.’s very first PEZ autograph of the day — the perfect way to kick off the convention adventure.
And finally, Corbin Bleu signed a Basketball PEZ dispenser, creating the very first addition to D.J.’s growing sports movie PEZ autograph collection. 🏀✨
A Day Filled with PEZ & Memories
