When the very first Pokémon games were released in Japan on February 27, 1996, Nintendo initially shipped only around 200,000 copies to retailers, believing the games would likely appeal only to a smaller audience.
Of course, nobody could have imagined the worldwide phenomenon Pokémon would soon become.
Just a few years later, in 2001, PEZ introduced its very first Pokémon PEZ series featuring five dispensers — dispensers that have since become beloved classics within our collections.
And now, the Pokémon PEZ adventure continues once again!

New Pokémon PEZ Dispensers Arrive in 2025
