As many of you already know, a very special and truly historic date is coming up next year.
PEZ is turning 100!
A century old, and yet somehow still looking so young, colorful, fresh and full of energy.
That’s what makes PEZ so special.
For quite some time now, PEZ has been counting down to this incredible milestone with a dedicated anniversary timer on its website.
And, of course, we couldn’t resist bringing that countdown to PEZ Pals as well, so we can all watch the days tick away together.
And wow… time is flying!
Something BIG Is Coming!
For months now, we can imagine the PEZ marketing teams have been working behind the scenes, sitting together, planning, creating and preparing all kinds of surprises and anniversary activities.
Some of them will eventually become visible to all of us, while others may remain closely guarded PEZ secrets until the very last moment.
An Exclusive First Look at the Official PEZ 100th Anniversary Logo!
Today, we are especially excited because we can give you an exclusive first look at the new official PEZ 100th Anniversary Logo!
At first glance, the design may look simple, but it says everything it needs to say.
Of course, the world-famous PEZ lettering takes center stage, combined with a colorful 100, designed as cheerful balloons and surrounded by confetti.
And who else could be holding those balloons?
Our beloved PEZ mascot, of course!
We absolutely love the playful combination of the iconic PEZ lettering, the colorful balloons and the mascot.
It immediately feels like a celebration, and that’s exactly what the 100th anniversary should be about.
Where Will We See the New Logo?
One thing we can already expect is that the new anniversary logo will make its way onto PEZ blister cards next year, most likely in an adapted form.
PEZ has not revealed all the details yet, so we’ll have to wait and see exactly how it will appear on the packaging.
But as collectors, we can already start imagining it…
And let’s be honest: could there possibly be some special PEZ merchandise featuring the 100th anniversary logo as well?
We certainly wouldn’t be surprised!
Rumors vs. Possibilities
And this is where things get really interesting for collectors.
There are already a few rumors and ideas circulating about what PEZ could have planned for 2027.
One rumor making the rounds is that we could potentially see at least one brand-new PEZ-created mold next year.
Nothing has been officially confirmed by PEZ, so for now this remains exactly that — a rumor.
But if there ever was a perfect opportunity for something like this, wouldn’t 100 years be the perfect occasion?
Could the PEZ Mascot Make a Comeback?
And then there is another possibility that has already caught our attention.
After being absent for quite some time, the PEZ mascot has suddenly returned in a very prominent way, right on the official 100th Anniversary Logo.
Could this be a little hint that PEZ might bring the mascot back in some form during the anniversary year?
Sadly, again, nothing has been confirmed.
But we’re definitely keeping our eyes and ears open!
Could the Heart Mold Play a Role?
Another thought that crossed our minds is the Heart Mold.
The Heart Mold was already a topic for PEZ International this year with the special Bosnian “Srce za Djecu” Heart.
So naturally, we have to ask ourselves:
Could PEZ have something special planned with the Heart Mold for the 100th anniversary?
Who knows!
And that’s exactly what makes being a PEZ collector so much fun.
There are so many possible combinations, ideas and directions PEZ could take, and we have a feeling that PEZ will keep many of its cards close to its chest for as long as possible.
Because let’s face it:
PEZ loves a good surprise.
And if the goal is to create a memorable 100th anniversary, keeping the big surprises secret until the right moment is probably part of the magic.
A PEZ Anniversary Celebration?
And then there is perhaps one of the biggest questions of all:
Will there be a special PEZ anniversary celebration in Europe?
Earlier this year, PEZ introduced PEZ Arts to the public for the first time and invited PEZ fans and collectors to the presentation at Dschungel Wien in Vienna.
It was a fantastic opportunity to bring PEZ fans together and celebrate the brand in a completely different way.
Could this have inspired PEZ to bring collectors and fans together again for a special 100th Anniversary Celebration?
Maybe a party? Maybe an event? Maybe something completely different?
Right now, there is no official confirmation of a dedicated PEZ 100th Anniversary event.
But once again… wouldn’t 100 years be the perfect reason for a celebration?
And Then There Is VIP 4!
Of course, we already know that something very special is happening in Vienna in 2027.
From August 19–21, 2027, the 4th V.I.P. Vienna International PEZ Gathering will take place in Vienna, Austria, organized by Yasin and myself.
And naturally, we want to celebrate this incredible PEZ milestone together with collectors from around the world.
100 years of PEZ and a gathering of PEZ collectors from all over the world in Vienna — we couldn’t ask for a better combination!
We are already looking forward to making VIP 4 an unforgettable gathering.
This Is Only the Beginning!
But whether PEZ has something else planned for its 100th anniversary, we’ll have to wait and see.
One thing is certain:
PEZ is turning 100, and PEZ is not going to let a milestone like this pass quietly.
For now, we’re simply thrilled to finally share the new official PEZ 100th Anniversary Logo with you.
