Hunting for Disney Parks PEZ Without Entering the Parks!

bills main 2026 05

To me, Disney can feel like a pretty intimidating place to navigate — especially as someone who has never been there! There are so many parks, stores and places to explore that sometimes you just want to know one simple thing: Where do I go if I’m looking for PEZ?

So, on Bill’s latest trip, while he was on the hunt for the new Belle PEZ, we asked him to help us answer that question. More specifically, we wanted to know where collectors can look for Disney Parks PEZ without entering the theme parks, what they can expect to find, and how to make the hunt a little easier.

After all, sometimes you’re looking for just one little PEZ dispenser in a place that seems to have about a billion other things!

Below is Bill’s report from his latest PEZ hunt, along with some very helpful shopping tips for collectors planning their own search.

Bill M. Reporting From Walt Disney World — On the Hunt for Belle!

Candy Cauldron

Candy Cauldron. This store has carried Disney Parks PEZ since the first releases in 2019–20. It gives me reason to assume that Disney perceives PEZ as a candy — and not as a toy or as a collectible.

Two display places. This is a fairly small retail space, and we were surprised to find this time that the small wall-shelf display had been expanded to include a free-standing display, which was located right in the middle of the small floor area.

Many Disney Parks PEZ. There were 11 different Disney Parks PEZ in this store, which is about two-thirds of all the dispensers released since the beginning of 2024.

Here is a better shot of the wall-shelf display for Disney Parks PEZ. Belle is not on display in the lower row here because we purchased all of the Belles.

The wall display at Candy Cauldron has displayed PEZ since 2019–20, when we’ve been looking for Disney Parks PEZ. I don’t know if there was other PEZ sold in this space between 2022–24 or not. Going back many years, I believe Candy Cauldron had a jumbled bin of Disney Clubhouse PEZ.

In this second wall PEZ display, it looks like someone else purchased all the Belles in the top row.

Here is the free-standing display on the floor in the middle of the store at Candy Cauldron.

The Orange Bird is stocked here. My sense is that anything from the back room could be stocked out front — anywhere. That is, nobody is making sure that as many choices are out front as possible. It just happens.

Goofy’s Candy Co.

Goofy’s Candy Co. PEZ gets a large wall-shelf display space here. However, about half of the space is devoted to the Bus vehicle and Cup.

Again, PEZ gets prime space in a snack or candy area, which is a fairly common retail location — but it shares space with the Bus and Teacup, which are Disney products.

This has been the same location for PEZ since 2019–20, but the display itself is better. To my eye, it looks like a space that could be used for PEZ for years rather than one season.

Basically, the same number of different PEZ characters.

Top shelves at Goofy’s with Buses and Teacups.

Bottom shelves at Goofy’s. Only one display at Goofy’s. All the Belles are gone.

World of Disney Store

World of Disney Store. This store is about the size of the horseshoe-shaped football stadium at The Ohio State University.

It stocks everything related to Disney. Merchandise is grouped into areas or departments.

For many years, even before Disney Parks PEZ, PEZ at this store was stocked along the short-walled pathway Disney uses to contain you once you get in line to pay for your merchandise.

It was a problem for PEZ collectors because they could not see the PEZ until they got in line, and you wouldn’t really want to spend a long time in line if you weren’t buying something. This is the same way they display PEZ at Kohl’s.

This time, we couldn’t see PEZ in the checkout line, but we did find PEZ in the YUM (Snacks) area.

World of Disney Store is so large, I would say that lots of people get stuck in one department and never make a full loop around the store. They never get to the Snack area.

Look for the Snack area — known in the Disney World as the YUM area.

The PEZ is there, but not much of it.

In fact, there are about as many different dispensers here as in the other stores — but it doesn’t pop out at you.

Once Upon a Toy

Once Upon a Toy. Here’s a dedicated toy store at Disney Springs that stocks PEZ. It didn’t stock PEZ during the early Disney Parks years (2019–20).

What does it mean that PEZ are at this store? It means that toy stores at Disney are acceptable locations for PEZ, according to someone at Disney who manages retail product strategies.

PEZ at toy stores, YES. PEZ at clothing, hats and accessories stores, NO.

Disney Store

Disney Store. After floating around Disney Springs, we visited a Disney Store on the tourist side of Orlando, about five miles from Disney Springs. It’s the same Disney Store that’s been in shopping centers for 20–25 years.

The Disney Store we visited looked like the Disney Stores that we’ve seen before. It’s in a bad location with little parking, and as a result there weren’t many people shopping there.

It was, however, where we purchased the last two or three Orange Bird PEZ on July 2 last summer.

We talked to the store manager, and she told us that this store used to have a snack area to the left in the photo. PEZ were stocked in this area — as they are in the World of Disney Store at Disney Springs.

Nobody bought snacks, so the store eliminated the YUM area, and PEZ was eliminated as well. The several dispensers on display with sports and casual wear are what’s left. That’s it.

Bill’s Shopping Tips for Finding Disney Parks PEZ

After making the rounds and checking the different Disney Springs locations, Bill shared a few tips that could make your own Disney Parks PEZ hunt a whole lot easier:

  • Shop early. Disney Springs stores open at 10:00 a.m. You’ll have a better chance of finding fully stocked shelves, smaller crowds and more convenient parking.
  • Buy it when you see it. Don’t plan on coming back later, especially for a newly released dispenser. Other collectors may be looking for exactly the same PEZ.
  • Start with the most likely stores. At Disney Springs, Bill recommends checking Candy Cauldron and Goofy’s Candy Co. first.
  • Ask a Cast Member for help. If the PEZ you’re looking for isn’t on the shelf, ask whether it’s in storage or available at another Disney location. A Cast Member may be able to check inventory, tell you how many are available and possibly have the dispensers held for you. Bill suggests trying the World of Disney Store for help because its Cast Members regularly handle questions about merchandise, locations and availability.
  • Keep a photo of the PEZ you’re hunting on your phone. Not every Cast Member will know PEZ or recognize a particular character, so showing them a picture can make the search much easier.
  • Check more than one store. Don’t assume that what you see in one location represents everything currently available. Different Disney Parks PEZ can appear in different stores, and some may only be available at one or two locations.

On September 25. Across the Disney Springs locations he checked, 12 different Disney Parks PEZ were on the shelves, but some could only be found in one or two stores.

These dispensers had been released over roughly the previous year and a half and, based on what he saw, Disney Parks PEZ do not appear to sell out as quickly as the Online Exclusives offered through the PEZ Candy USA website.

Thank You, Bill!

A huge thank you again to Bill M. for taking us along on his latest Disney Parks PEZ hunt and for putting together these shopping tips for our readers.

For those of us who have never tried to navigate Disney Springs looking for one particular PEZ dispenser, this gives us a much better idea of where to look, when to shop and, most importantly, what to do when the PEZ we’re hunting isn’t sitting on the shelf.

And this time, the hunt had a very happy ending…
