First Concept Art For New Barbie PEZ Dispensers
Now the printed version of the catalog has officially been released by PEZ International — and collectors quickly discovered a very exciting surprise hidden inside.
To our complete surprise, the printed catalog includes the very first concept artwork for the upcoming Barbie PEZ dispensers.
And according to the catalog, these concept designs have not yet been officially approved by Mattel.
At first glance, we honestly thought the images might have been fan-made designs 😄
But PEZ really created a wonderfully colorful and diverse concept lineup, and we absolutely love the direction they are taking with the Barbie assortment.
The different hairstyles, looks, and personalities instantly make the concept series feel lively and modern.
And honestly… some of the designs immediately remind us of celebrities who look very similar 😊
(Katy Perry and a young Oprah Winfrey instantly came to mind.)
Now we simply have to wait until the first real production photos finally appear.
Until then, collectors can still enjoy looking back at the Barbie PEZ dispensers from previous years while we patiently wait for the new assortment expected later this year.
At the moment, the new Barbie PEZ dispensers are expected sometime during the fourth quarter of 2023.
And honestly… we are already very excited 😊
