BREAKING NEWS: Asterix PEZ Returns in 2023
Asterix is one of the most successful and beloved French comic series ever created.
First introduced in 1959 by author René Goscinny and illustrator Albert Uderzo, the adventures of Asterix and Obelix quickly became a worldwide phenomenon.
Since the early 1960s, an incredible 39 comic books have been released in more than 100 languages and dialects, alongside numerous animated and live-action films.
And now, with a brand-new live-action movie “Asterix & Obelix: The Middle Kingdom” arriving in theaters, plus a new Netflix animated series planned for 2023, PEZ is officially bringing the legendary Gauls back into our collections.
The New 2023 Asterix PEZ Lineup
Collectors in Europe will soon be able to add:
❤️ Asterix — red stem
💙 Obelix — blue stem
🤍 Idefix — white stem
to their collections during the first quarter of 2023.
For longtime PEZ collectors, this return is especially exciting.
The original Asterix PEZ dispensers released during the mid-1970s are now among the most legendary and expensive PEZ collectibles in existence.
Even the European remake series released in the late 1990s has become an essential part of many collections.
Unfortunately, PEZ International is still holding back the official product photos for now.
