Blue, Red, White & Glitter! The Sparkling Evolution of the USA Flag Ball PEZ Dispensers!
One can’t help but wonder: was this a masterstroke of marketing from the very beginning, or did PEZ Candy Inc. take inspiration from the creativity of the PEZ collecting community?
Last year, collectors were treated to a sparkling surprise with the release of the Crystal Glitter USA Flag Ball dispenser featuring a blue stem. This special version was exclusively included in the limited Pamp Suisse Fourth of July PEZ Silver Gift Set and was limited to just 2,500 pieces.
Not surprisingly, it quickly became one of the most sought-after modern PEZ releases.
The Red Stem Followed
Soon after, PEZ Candy Inc. introduced a second version of the same USA Flag Ball design, this time featuring a red stem and released as a Limited Edition Online Exclusive.
That’s when something interesting began happening throughout the PEZ collecting community.
Collectors started swapping stems to create their own patriotic red, white, and blue combinations, inspired by the colors of the American flag.
The Trilogy Is Complete
What began as a collector-driven idea has now become official.
PEZ Candy Inc. has embraced the concept and released a third version of the USA Flag Ball dispenser, this time featuring a white stem and once again offered as an Online Exclusive.
With the addition of this final release, the USA Flag Ball trilogy is now complete:
* Blue Stem
* Red Stem
* White Stem
Each version features the sparkling crystal glitter design and celebrates the patriotic colors of the American flag.
