PEZ First Look: 44 Cats Debuts at ISM 2020!
Every year, the ISM Candy Fair in Cologne, Germany, gives collectors a first glimpse at many of the exciting PEZ releases coming later in the year.
For 2020, PEZ International had a surprise waiting at its booth with the debut of an all-new licensed assortment based on the animated television series 44 Cats.
Meet the Buffycats
Created by Italian animator Iginio Straffi, 44 Cats follows the adventures of four musical kittens known as the Buffycats.
The animated series quickly found an international audience through Nickelodeon, charming children with its colorful characters, catchy music, and fun adventures.
Now, those lovable feline friends are making their PEZ debut!
Three New PEZ Dispensers
The first 44 Cats assortment includes three characters:
* Lampo
* Milady
* Meatball
With cats being among the most popular animal characters in the world, we’re sure these adorable new dispensers will find plenty of fans—not only among viewers of the series, but also within the PEZ collecting community.
Coming Later in 2020
PEZ announced that the new 44 Cats assortment would be arriving in stores during the autumn of 2020.
As always, ISM once again proved to be the perfect place to preview the exciting releases collectors could look forward to later in the year.
