Alright, PEZ Pals… as promised, today is the day!
Although the doors to The Big E won’t officially open until September 13, PEZ Candy Inc. has already given us our first look at this year’s special PEZ dispenser.
And we’re very happy to see that PEZ is continuing a familiar Big E tradition!
Rhode Island Joins the Big E PEZ Collection!
After Connecticut received its special Big E PEZ dispenser in 2017, followed by Massachusetts in 2018, it’s now Rhode Island’s turn!
For 2019, collectors will be able to pick up a special Rhode Island PEZ puck dispenser created for The Big E.
The familiar look of the series remains, with the yellow PEZ candy mascot and an outline of the featured state appearing on the puck, once again paired with a blue stem.
Limited to 1,000 Pieces!
The 2019 Rhode Island Big E PEZ dispenser is limited to only 1,000 pieces.
At the time of its release, the dispenser was priced at $9, with purchases limited to six dispensers per person.
Collectors could also pick up a special T-shirt for $21, or purchase a bundle containing one PEZ dispenser and one T-shirt for $25.
Where Could Collectors Find It?
The Rhode Island puck was available exclusively during The Big E Exposition in West Springfield.
Collectors could find it at the Connecticut Building from September 13 through September 29, 2019.
With only 1,000 pieces available, we have a feeling quite a few PEZ collectors will be making The Big E one of their stops this year!
Another Big E Puck for the Collection!
We’re pleased to see PEZ Candy Inc. staying faithful to the tradition and adding another puck to the growing Big E series.
Connecticut in 2017, Massachusetts in 2018 and now Rhode Island in 2019 — we can’t help but wonder which state might be next!
Hopefully you’re as happy as we are to see another one joining the collection. 😉
Happy Collecting!
