Cinderella PEZ Celebrates 75 Magical Years!
Cinderella remains one of Disney’s most beloved classics, touching hearts around the world for generations.
The timeless story follows a kind young woman forced to live under the rule of her cruel stepmother and stepsisters. Despite her difficult circumstances, Cinderella never stops believing that dreams can come true.
With the help of her loyal animal friends, Jaq and Gus, and a little magic from her Fairy Godmother, she attends the royal ball and captures the Prince’s heart.
But when the clock strikes midnight, the magic ends and Cinderella flees the palace, leaving behind only a single glass slipper. Determined to find the mysterious young woman, the Prince searches the kingdom for the one person whose foot fits the slipper perfectly.
A Film with a Remarkable History
It may come as a surprise, but Cinderella had a long journey to the big screen.
Some of Disney’s earliest concepts for the film date back to the 1930s. It wasn’t until 1948 that the studio finally committed to the project, a risky decision at the time, as Disney had not enjoyed a major animated blockbuster since Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs more than a decade earlier.
Fortunately, Cinderella became a massive success and helped secure Disney’s future for generations to come.
PEZ Celebrates Cinderella’s 75th Anniversary
As we teased in a recent post, PEZ has created a very special release to celebrate Cinderella’s 75th anniversary.
The new Online Exclusive dispenser is now officially available and features a beautiful translucent light blue stem printed with “Disney Cinderella 75” in elegant black lettering.
This version differs from the Disney Parks exclusive Cinderella dispenser, which features a crystal-clear body. To help collectors compare the various releases, we’ve prepared a side-by-side overview featuring the regular Cinderella, the Disney Parks exclusive, and the new Online Exclusive edition.
