Disney Parks PEZ Collection Continues to Shine with Two Spectacular New Releases!
The Disney Parks PEZ collection has truly captured the hearts of collectors around the world. What began with some of Disney’s most beloved characters has grown into one of the most exciting modern PEZ series ever released.
What makes this collection so special isn’t just the characters themselves. Over the years, PEZ has continued to surprise collectors with exclusive molds, beautiful Crystal editions, Glow-in-the-Dark dispensers, and unique Disney Parks exclusives that simply can’t be found anywhere else.
With the arrival of these two brand-new releases, the Disney Parks PEZ collection now totals an impressive 24 dispensers, and we’re excited to welcome both of them!
A Beautiful New Princess Tiana
The first new release is a stunning new version of Princess Tiana.
This Disney Parks exclusive features a beautiful transparent stem and a sparkling finish on her dress, making it a gorgeous variation of the standard retail release.
It’s one of those editions that immediately stands out on the shelf and is sure to become a favorite among both Disney and PEZ collectors.
With this release, Tiana becomes the third Disney Princess to receive a special Disney Parks edition.
We can only hope that many more princesses receive the Disney Parks treatment in the future!
Welcome, Little Orange Bird!
The second new dispenser absolutely stole the show.
For the very first time, Disney’s beloved Little Orange Bird has been transformed into a PEZ dispenser, complete with an all-new custom mold created especially for this release.
Seeing PEZ invest in a brand-new mold for a Disney Parks character makes this release even more exciting.
For collectors who may not be familiar with this charming character, here’s a little history.
Orange Bird, often affectionately called Little Orange Bird, is one of Disney’s most iconic—and most beloved—Disney Parks characters.
Although he never appeared in an animated Disney film, he has achieved true cult status among Disney Parks fans.
The character was created in the late 1960s for the Florida Citrus Commission, which sponsored Walt Disney’s Enchanted Tiki Room and the Sunshine Tree Terrace refreshment stand at Walt Disney World.
In return, Disney designed a lovable mascot to promote Florida oranges, and Orange Bird officially made his debut in 1971.
What makes him so unique?
* His head is an orange complete with a tiny green leaf.
* He’s an adorable combination of a bird and an orange.
* Unlike many Disney characters, he doesn’t speak, making his expressive personality even more charming.
From Forgotten Mascot to Disney Parks Favorite
When the partnership between Disney and the Florida Citrus Commission ended during the 1980s, Orange Bird quietly disappeared from the parks for many years.
His unexpected comeback began in Japan around 2004, where nostalgic Disney characters became incredibly popular with collectors.
Thanks to that renewed interest, Disney eventually brought Orange Bird back to the United States.
Since 2012, he has once again become closely associated with Sunshine Tree Terrace and has grown into one of the most beloved retro mascots in Disney Parks history.
One of PEZ’s Best Modern Series
Whoever is responsible at PEZ and Disney for creating and expanding the Disney Parks PEZ line deserves a huge round of applause.
This series continues to impress collectors with creative character choices, exclusive designs, and beautiful new molds that keep the collection fresh and exciting.
We genuinely love every new addition and hope this amazing line continues for many years to come.
