When the brand-new Golden New Year PEZ Groom dispenser launched online at PEZ International yesterday at exactly 2:00 PM CET, the website handled the excitement remarkably well.
There were no crashes, no noticeable delays, and no interruptions during the launch process. A big compliment to PEZ for delivering such a smooth experience!
Collectors were able to place their orders without much stress, with a purchase limit of five dispensers per customer.
Still Available in Europe
It’s almost hard to believe, but the Golden New Year PEZ Groom remains available in the PEZ International online shop.
One possible reason is that shipping is currently unavailable to several regions with active collector communities, including Israel, Japan, and the United Kingdom.
As a result, demand may be slightly lower than many collectors initially expected.
USA Collectors: Your Turn Is Coming
Things will likely look very different once the dispenser arrives in the United States.
Based on previous online-exclusive releases, many collectors expect the American allocation to sell out very quickly.
While some collectors have already started refreshing the PEZ Candy USA website every few minutes, there’s no need to panic just yet.
According to PEZ International’s social media channels, the dispenser is scheduled to arrive for American collectors next week.
Since PEZ Candy USA has traditionally released new online exclusives on Mondays, many collectors are speculating that the upcoming Monday could be launch day.
The Chase Hunt Continues
In the meantime, the excitement continues on both sides of the Atlantic.
European collectors are eagerly waiting for their packages to arrive, hoping to discover one of the ultra-rare black-and-gold Chase Editions hidden inside.
Meanwhile, American collectors are preparing for their chance to add this beautiful New Year release to their collections.
