We already told you about this year’s New Year PEZ release, but PEZ had been keeping an even bigger surprise under wraps.
Today, PEZ International finally revealed what many collectors never saw coming, and we have to admit—even we were completely caught off guard!
The star of this release?
The return of the legendary PEZ Groom!
One of the most beloved character dispensers in PEZ history is making a spectacular comeback, and this time PEZ has gone all out.
Two Versions to Collect
Collectors will have the opportunity to hunt for two stunning versions:
Standard Edition
White and gold design featuring a white bow tie, “Happy New Year” printed on the stem, and “2025” printed in white on the hat.
Chase Edition
Black and gold design featuring black printing and a black bow tie.
Each Chase dispenser includes a special sticker on the blister card identifying it as one of only 200 produced.
The Numbers Behind the Release
PEZ has produced the following quantities for both Europe and the USA:
* 1,925 White & Gold Standard Editions
* 100 Black & Gold Chase Editions
Add those numbers together and you get 2,025 dispensers per region, a clever tribute to the year 2025.
That means Europe receives 2,025 total pieces and the USA receives 2,025 total pieces as well.
Europe Starts First
European collectors get the first opportunity when sales begin at 2:00 PM CET.
American collectors can sit back and watch the excitement unfold before their own release arrives later.
And if previous online exclusives have taught us anything, it’s this:

The Chase Hunt Begins
While PEZ has not officially confirmed the exact ordering process, many collectors expect purchase limits to be in place.
The most exciting possibility is that orders may be packed randomly.
Imagine ordering several dispensers and discovering an ultra-rare Chase Edition when you open the box!
That would mean collectors won’t know if they’ve secured a Chase until the moment their package arrives.
