New Lion King PEZ Assortment Roars into 2024
The heartwarming story of Mufasa, Simba, Nala, Timon, and Pumbaa continues to resonate with both young and old collectors alike.
In celebration of the franchise’s 30th anniversary in December 2024, Disney is preparing to release a new live-action film exploring Mufasa’s rise to the throne.
The Lion King has held a cherished place in our collections since 2004, and now, two decades later, PEZ is giving the lineup a fresh update with brand-new molds and revised designs.
Simba, Pumbaa, Timon, and Mufasa will all return in May/June for both Europe and the USA.
We’ve taken a closer look at the new Lion King PEZ assortment and wanted to showcase the differences between the old and new collections using our images.
Mufasa now appears with a blue stem instead of orange, along with an updated print design.
Additionally, Simba, Timon, and Pumbaa all feature new stem colors and completely redesigned molds.
To help collectors identify which dispensers are missing from their displays, we’ve also prepared a complete Lion King PEZ pictorial.
Of course, this means many of us will once again need to rearrange our display cases to make room for four more fantastic additions this summer.
And honestly? We couldn’t be more excited about it.
