Japan Gets an Exciting New PEZ Exclusive
Right now, there’s probably no better place to be as a PEZ collector than Japan!
Social media has been buzzing over the past few days, with our Japanese PEZ friends sharing exciting videos straight from the arcades.
The reason? Three brand-new PEZ Mini Figure Keychains have just been released exclusively in TAITO claw machines across Japan!
Vintage Style Meets the Claw Machine
Designed in the much-loved vintage PEZ style, the first series features three adorable characters:
- Panda
- Lion
- Elephant
Don’t expect to find them on store shelves—these little collectibles can only be won by mastering the claw machine!
With a steady hand, a bit of skill, and plenty of luck, collectors have the chance to take home one of these charming keychain-sized PEZ collectibles.
More Characters Are Coming
According to System Service Co., Ltd., these three characters make up the first series, which has just arrived in Japanese arcades.
The excitement doesn’t end there. A second series is already scheduled for August, but the company has not yet revealed which PEZ characters will be included.
For now, the lineup for Series 2 remains a mystery, giving collectors even more to look forward to.
A Tough Collectible to Find
Because these PEZ Mini Figure Keychains are exclusive to Japan and can only be won from TAITO claw machines, we expect they’ll be incredibly difficult to obtain outside the country.
That will certainly make them highly sought-after collectibles among PEZ fans around the world.
But every collector knows that hope is part of the hobby. Maybe our wonderful Japanese PEZ friends will once again find a way to help these little treasures travel across the globe and into collections everywhere.
