Here’s the story behind Sergio’s amazing creation, shared by Gonzalo Blanco himself:
“My son, Sergio Blanco, was in his final year of high school when his Audiovisual class assigned a slow-motion project. His brother, Marcos, had previously used a Playmobil figure for a similar project, so Sergio turned to me for ideas.
After learning what slow-motion involves, I suggested using the bees from my collection. What better story than capturing the moment a bee communicates to the others where to find pollen?
The process of moving each character centimeter by centimeter was painstaking, and it gave me a deep appreciation for those who create these intricate videos.
To everyone out there making these kinds of masterpieces — my heartfelt congratulations. You have my utmost admiration!”
Honestly, we are completely blown away by the creativity, patience, and love poured into this project. The PEZ bee dispensers look absolutely fantastic in motion, and the storytelling behind the video makes it even more special. It’s always incredible to see PEZ inspiring creativity far beyond collecting alone.
