After European PEZ collectors once again had to watch yesterday’s Watermelon Sour Mascot release from afar, we now finally have something special that will make many European collectors very happy.
Two New PEZ Metal Tins Coming Soon
PEZ International is preparing the release of two brand-new PEZ Metal Tins, marking the return of these beloved collectible storage boxes after nearly three years.
Over the years, PEZ International has released several fantastic shoebox-sized metal tins, usually appearing every few years as stylish and highly collectible merchandise items.
This time, collectors can look forward to two very different designs:
* A colorful modern PEZ design featuring bright candy brick graphics on a blue background
* A beautiful retro-style tin showcasing classic PEZ artwork and the iconic PEZ Girls
The history of these PEZ Metal Tins actually goes back to the 1990s, when similar tins were produced for Eastern European markets.
Back then, the tins were used as eye-catching display containers for individual PEZ candy packs sold in stores.
Today, some of those original vintage tins have become highly sought-after collector’s items.
The new versions continue that tradition perfectly.
Not only are they beautiful display pieces, but they are also genuinely practical storage boxes for PEZ collections and collectibles.
