One of the biggest highlights fans are looking forward to is the upcoming HBO television reboot, with its first season, Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone, set to premiere on December 25, 2026, just in time for Christmas, on HBO and HBO Max!
And Harry Potter has certainly made its mark in the PEZ world, too! Over the years, PEZ has released several different versions of the beloved characters, giving collectors plenty of magical additions to look out for.

Where the Harry Potter PEZ Magic Began
It all started with the original Limited Edition Collector’s Box, released by PEZ Candy Inc. in the USA and limited to 100,000 pieces.
The special set featured six characters in their classic movie appearances: Harry Potter, Ron Weasley, Hermione Granger, Albus Dumbledore, Lord Voldemort, and Rubeus Hagrid.
For collectors, this was the beginning of a magical PEZ series that would continue to grow and change over the years.
A Magical Makeover in 2020!
In 2020, PEZ introduced a completely redesigned version of the series.
This time, Harry, Ron, Hermione, and other familiar characters, including Lord Voldemort, received a cute Chibi / Manga-inspired look, featuring oversized heads and black stems.
The updated designs gave the familiar Hogwarts characters a whole new personality and brought a fresh look to the Harry Potter PEZ collection.
PEZ Clips and a Hogwarts Sweater!
The collection continued to grow in 2021 when PEZ Candy Inc. introduced the Harry Potter PEZ Clips, featuring Harry Potter and Hermione Granger.
Then, in 2024, another special addition joined the lineup: the Hogwarts Sweater PEZ dispenser, bringing a little extra magic to the collection.
Harry, Hermione, and Ron Return with New Packaging!
Now, PEZ International is bringing back the popular trio of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley!
But before you start searching for brand-new molds, there’s an important detail collectors should know.
The dispensers themselves are the same versions originally released in 2020!
So what’s new?
It’s all about the packaging! The three dispensers are returning with a brand-new blister card design, giving packaging collectors something new to add to their Harry Potter collections.
And as we collectors know, sometimes it’s those little packaging differences that make a re-release especially interesting!
With this re-release, PEZ once again shows its great sense for recognizing what fans and collectors are excited about. By bringing popular themes back into the spotlight, PEZ continues to keep its lineup fresh and connected to what’s happening in the world of entertainment.
